Peavine Hollow Farm has been raising Angora Goats since 1991. After a herd kill in 1992, we added our first Maremma to protect our herd from wandering dogs, coyotes and bears. We have imported six dogs from Italy over the past 20 years to increase the genetic diversity in the USA. Peavine dogs guard flocks and herds in 38 states, Puerto Rico, Canada and South America.
Peavine Hollow Farm is situated on 40 acres located in Free Union, Virginia. We welcome folks to come visit and learn about Angora Goats and their protectors, the Maremma Livestock Guardian Dogs.
Peavine Hollow Goats have won many awards including: Grand Champion Bucks and Does at EAGMA, NYS&W, SAFF, New Jersey Harvest Festival and the Great Lakes Festival.
Maremma Stud service available.
